Aarhus University’s Platform for Inequality Research (PIREAU) invites applications for seed funding under two themes:
Theme 1: Labor market transformations and inequality.
Theme 2: Social inequality in the Danish health care sector.
Within these broad themes, all research questions and approaches are welcome.
The seed funding is meant to support researchers that explore new ideas or collaborations, or which function as pilot studies for larger research projects and applications. All researchers employed at Aarhus University are invited to apply.
Time frame: The seed funding must be spent before December 31, 2025.
Budget: Up to 100.000 DKK.
Eligibility: All researchers employed at Aarhus University, including PhD students.
Application form: Please fill in the application form, including a detailed budget and a short abstract for dissemination.
Deadline: November 29, 2024, at noon.
We aim to provide a decision within 2-3 weeks of the submission deadline.
Please note that the seed funding only covers data, student assistants, and activities directly related to exploring the research question. It cannot be spent on buy-out for senior researchers, salary for PhDs or postdocs, or conferences.
The aim of the call is to facilitate the development of a community of researchers interested in the topic. Successful applicants are therefore expected to present their project at a workshop hosted by AIAS and are encouraged to engage with other grantees and AIAS fellows working on the same topic.
The application form is attached above as a word file. Applicants must download and fill it.
